Saturday passes at the gate

There will be some $50 Saturday passes made available at the Gate (on Saturday).

Our t-shirts, hoodies and posters arrived this week too and are looking sharp. These will be available at the festival of course.

BUCK 65 HAD TO CANCEL

We regret to announce that BUCK 65 has had to cancel his appearance at the 2011 Wolfe Island Music Festival. We hope we can get him to join us for a festival in the future.

We have managed to secure a surprise act to fill Buck 65's slot and know you're going to be just as excited as we are!

Wolfe Island Music Festival early bird passes will go on sale for $60 this Friday, May 20th. You can buy them online only, so check back on this website Friday morning as there are only a limited number of early bird passes.

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS

This group is an information site for individuals interested in volunteering with this year's Wolfe Island Music Fest, August 5th and 6th 2011.

***In exchange for working a 4-hour shift, volunteers will receive:

- FREE ADMISSION to the Festival for the day on which you volunteer
(Either the Friday or Saturday; people who volunteer on both days will get both days free)

- FREE CAMPING PASSES for the weekend
(To register, volunteers MUST indicate to the coordinators that they intend to camp)

- Access to the legendary Wolfe Island Music Festival AFTER PARTY
(Limited to artists and event staff, at a secret location TBA)

***POSITIONS

We are looking for people to work the various admission GATES, to sell Festival MERCH, to help with SETUP and CLEANUP, and with various other GENERAL duties.

***SCHEDULING

We will need people on:

- The evening of FRIDAY, AUGUST 5th
for ALL positions (start time TBD later)

On SATUDAY, AUGUST 6th, for:

- Front Gate at 8:00 pm
.....Great shift to work for after a long day at the festival
- Camping Gate at 4:00 and 8:00 pm
- General Help at 12:00, 4:00 and 8:00 pm
- Cleanup after the main stage show ends, approximately 11:00 pm
....honestly doesn't take that long! Promise!

***HOW TO VOLUNTEER

1) Decide which position and time you would prefer to volunteer at, as well as an alternate or second choice.

2) Email Ashley (Volunteer Coordinator) at wimf.volunteer@gmail.com. In the email, please introduce yourself, state your volunteering preferences, and submit your contact info (preferably email address and a phone number).

3) Wait for your scheduling confirmation.

4) Come to the Festival, have a good time, and help a great cause!
